I photographed this pretty Prickly Pear Cactus just off of Dry Creek Road, in Sedona, Arizona, in the United States. It was a freezing cold day, although when I photographed this image it was later in the day and the snow was beginning to melt off the cactus. rachealchristianphotography.com

Racheal,this is great photography!! I thought at first it was in Australia, but then discovered it was in my favorite place Sedona,Arizona. I do not know of another place that has that combination of red rock and mountains, with such bold contrasts.

Thanks Susan. I live in Outback Australia and when I first visited Sedona in Arizona I fell in love with the place. I made sure that it was on my list for places to return to when I traveled through Arizona earlier this year. It is a stunning place :)
